Pottery has always fascinated me. Even as a child I made little plates and bowls out of the red clay in my yard.

I love the feel of wet clay sliding around in my hands. Making something out of such a natural material is magical. You never really know how a piece will turn out. It could be trash or treasure. Either way there's pleasure in the process.
