Works in Progress

The clay goes through many processes before it's a finished piece.

The top photo shows some pieces drying to the leather hard stage.  After it has been cleaned up; it goes in the kiln for a bisque firing.

When it has completely cooled the pot has to be washed to remove dust, air dried and then glazed.

The next two photos show glazed work.

Just out of the kiln after firing for about eleven hours!  The kiln has to cool for the same amount of time before unloading.
